Shirley McMillan

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Shirley McMillan, who entered her eternal home on March 18, 2026, at the age of 88.

 Shirley was born on October 28, 1937. She was a woman of quiet strength, kindness, and grace—someone who touched the lives of all who knew her with a gentle spirit and a caring heart. She will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering love for her family, and the steady presence she provided throughout her life.

 She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guy McMillan; her son, Gary McMillan; her brothers Donald, Lester, and Terry; and her parents, Frederick and Alice Balius. 

Shirley is survived by her sons, Scott (Kathy) McMillan, Stephen McMillan and Greg McMillan. She also leaves behind a legacy of love through her seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

 Shirley’s life was a testament to love, faith, family, and perseverance. Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace with the Lord in her eternal home.

 Visitation will be on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 10 am until 11am, with an 11 am church service, all at Vancleave RSLD Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
