Shirley May Pierson

Shirley May Pierson, age 60, of Gulfport passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Gulfport. Shirley was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She lived life to the fullest, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Mascroft; a brother, Roger Owen; and the love of her life, Johnny Pierson. She is survived by two daughters, Becky Rhodes, and Kelli Pelman (Jorge Gonzalez); her mother, Geraldine Woodcock; two sisters, Debbie Boeddeker, Kay Goodman; three brothers, Noel Elsberry (Ava), Otis Hosier, and Mitchell Woodcock; five grandchildren, Chance Rhodes, Taylor Rhodes, Whitney Pelman, Madison Goss, Logan Mattia; and three great-grandchildren Alex, Ryleigh, Ian. Private services. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
