Shirley “Ann” Wilson
Shirley “Ann” Wilson was born in Phenix City, Alabama, native of Pensacola, Florida. She died in Ocean Springs on March 30, 2016 at age 79.
A resident of the Villa Maria for the last thirteen years where she enjoyed her view of the Gulf.
She was passionate about the time she spent working at the Baptist Hospital in Labor and Delivery.
There was a place in her heart for Oregon, where she lived before coming to the Coast.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Taylor, Lee Otis Wilson, Jessie D. Alexander; son, Michael Wayne Taylor; grandson, David R. Fitzsimmons; parents, Daniel L. Strickland and Mattie M. Strickland Alley; siblings, Donny, Bill, Carolyn, Daniel and David.
Survived by her children, Rickey (Sherry), Rachel (Ed), Clinton (Charlotte), Pam (Corkey) and Russell (Nancy); 10 grandchildren, Landy (Jessica), Reba (Chris), Micah, Melissa (Pat), D.J., Beth (Tony), Travis, Annie, Christy, Michael; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild due in August.Graveside service to be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
