Sid Cruthirds

Mr. Sid Cruthirds, 84, of Biloxi, MS died Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Biloxi. Mr. Cruthirds was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. He was a 30 year veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and a member of the First Baptist Church of Biloxi. Survivors include his wife, Oma Cruthirds of Biloxi; three daughters, Fay Clay and Nell Roberts of Jackson, MS and Beth Thomas and her husband, Harry, of Jasper, GA; two sisters, Jeanette Shaul and Irene Krohn both of Ocean Springs; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday, April 5, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 6358, Gulfport, MS 39506.
