Son Thieu Nguyen

Son Thieu Nguyen, age 78, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born on July 24, 1947 in Ba Lang, Thanh Hoa, Viet Nam. He was a longtime resident of the southern portion of the United States and also became a naturalized citizen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Am Van Nguyen and Tuyen Nguyen; and brother, Cao Van Nguyen in Viet Nam.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Rum Thi Nguyen with whom he shares two sons, Khuong Thien Nguyen and San Thien Nguyen. He is also survived by his six brothers, Son Van Nguyen of Viet Nam (with wife, children, and grandchildren), Hanh Van Nguyen of USA (with wife, children, and grandchildren), Nho Van Nguyen of USA (with wife, children, and grandchildren), Toan Van Nguyen of Viet Nam (with wife, children, and grandchildren), Quy Van Nguyen of Viet Nam (with wife, children, and grandchildren), Bau Van Nguyen of Viet Nam (with wife, children, and grandchildren); and one sister, Canh Thi Nguyen of USA (with husband, children, and grandchildren). Other survivors include his partner's three daughters, Lydia Tran and her son, Jasmeen Tran and her three children, and Kathy Morton and her husband and their two daughters; and one son, Steve Tran and his wife and their five children and three grandchildren

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with Blessing of the Body starting at 3:00 pm at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral home located at 675 Howard Ave., Biloxi, MS 39530.

Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11:30 am and will end at 1:00 pm at the Vietnamese Martyrs Church located at 171 Oak St., Biloxi, MS 39530.
