Stanley J. Leja, LTC USAF (RET), passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2022 in Gulfport, MS.

Col. Leja, a native of Auburn, NY, retired on the coast in 1977. He was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of several fraternal and military organizations.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynne Hair Leja; daughter, Patricia Anderson of Gulfport; grandchildren, Elizabeth Cowart and John Anderson; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church where friends may visit one-hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Leja family.
