Stephen Lee Karr

Stephen “Steve” Lee Karr, 53, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

He was born on April 22, 1972, in Hillsdale, MI and adopted at 9 months old by John Karr and Jean Karr. He graduated from Addisan High School in 1991. He enjoyed watching movies, cowboys, Star Wars, painting, wrestling, and history on the World Wars and Civil Wars. He has been on three cruises.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, John Karr.

He is survived by his parents, Jean (Doug) Coleman; siblings, Karen VanOver, Brian Karr, John Michael Karr, and Tom Karr; biological stepsisters, Robin and Billie and aunt, Sara; and pet, Buddy “AKA Muscle Man”.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Samaritan House Retirement Apartments for the resident fun days, BYOB Paint Studio, and Kroc Center for displaying his art.
