Steven Phillip J. Chism

Steven Phillip J. Chism, 38, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on December 25, 2025.

He was born on April 3, 1987, in Los Angeles, CA, to Steven Bradley Chism and Susan Lynette Chism. He graduated from High School and Victor Valley College. He attained an associate’s degree in business computers and a computer tech certification. He has worked at the Beach Pharmacy in Gulfport, Keesler AFB Rec Hall, Perry’s Café and Beach Rentals in Santa Monica, CA and most recently, an IT computer job at home. He enjoyed going for rides, spending time with his friends, music, and reading.

Steven was preceded in death by his dad, Steven Bradley Chism of Apple Valley, CA; grandmother, Ethel Annette King of Vancleave, MS; and grandparents, Jay and Marguerite Chism of Victorville, CA.

He is survived by his mom, Susan Lynette King; cat, Mary, a.k.a “Kitty Cat”; and many wonderful great aunts and uncles, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a thank you to all their wonderful family and friends who have helped so very much and for all the prayers prayed. Thank you so much!

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Vancleave #1 Cemetery.
