Mrs. Susan Snell Sabata Williams, 49, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 36 years. She was a 1976 graduate of Ocean Springs High School and a true artist with her hands. She won several local awards for her needle point and cross-stitch. She was an avid bowler, an excellent cook and a free spirit who loved life and her family.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her father, Richard G. Snell, Sr. She is survived by a son, Cory Sabata, of Ocean Springs; her mother, Ruth Snell of Ocean Springs; her brothers, Rick Snell and his wife, Ida, of Vancleave, Larry Snell and his wife, Donna, of Ocean Springs, Scott Snell and his wife, Robin, of Ocean Springs; her sister, Diana Andrews of Ocean Springs; and aunt, Marion Whitney of Ocean Springs; an aunt and uncle, Beverly and Joe MacMillan of Washington state; nieces, Lauren Snell of Ocean Springs and Kim Fairchild of Vancleave; nephews, Steven McKenzie, Darrell and Nicholas Snell of Ocean Springs, Kris Woods of Vancleave; great nieces and nephews, Chelsey and Tyler Fairchild, and Dylan Sentelle of Vancleave, and numerous cousins from all over the United States.
A special thanks to Hospice of Light for all their care and support during her final days.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
