Susan Frances Quave

Susan Frances Quave, 78, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Gulfport.

Ms. Quave was born in Biloxi and was a lifelong resident of D’Iberville. She was employed for over 30 years at Howard Memorial Hospital and Biloxi Regional Hospital as a registered nurse. Ms. Quave loved her dogs and enjoyed being outside bird watching and gardening. She loved watching old movies, cooking and especially spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Norma Quave; her brother, Stephen Alphonse Quave; and her nephew, Richard Henry Quave, Jr.

Ms. Quave’s survivors include her daughter, Lauren Quave; her sister, Rebecca Quave (Donald) Illich; her brother, Richard Henry Quave, Sr.; and her nephews, Donald (Julia) Illich, Jr., Robb (Robert) Illich and Mark Illich.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 9:30 am until Mass time.
