Sybil Jean Vercher

Sybil Jean Vercher, 65, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Gulfport, MS. She was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. Sybil was a member of Bibleway Baptist Church in D’Iberville, MS. She is survived by her husband, Bobby F. Vercher of Biloxi; daughters, Jill (Chris) Thomas of Woolmarket and Amanda (Joe) Russ of Gulfport; son, Rev. John (Michelle) Vercher of D’Iberville; sister, Diane Lawrence of Pearl, MS; brothers, Hasty Morgan of D’Iberville, Gerald Morgan of Phoenix, AZ and Clay Morgan of D’Iberville; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission, 2750 Mission Lane, Biloxi, MS 39531. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Funeral service will be on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
