Terry D. Hode

Terry D. Hode, 48, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Gulfport. He was a lifelong resident of Gulfport. He was a graduate of St. John High School in 1981 and of Mississippi State in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He was employed over 20 years with Planning Systems, Inc. in Long Beach . He was involved in many sports and loved to fish. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Hode was preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Hode McLemore; and a brother, Mark Anthony Hode. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Hode; his daughter, Kalyn Hode, both of Gulfport; and his parents, Dale and Helen Hode of Gulfport. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
