Theda Hodge Barney

Theda Hodge Barney, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 11, 2015. Theda enjoyed working as a security officer with Boomtown Casino for the past 10 years. She preceded in death by her husband, Walter Barney; her parents, Ted and Eula Noyes; and her brother, Terryl Noyes. Theda is survived by her son, Matthew (Diane) Hodge; daughter, Laquitta (Tim) Smith; sister, Cindy (Scotty) Broome; five grandchildren, Matthew P. (Melissa) Hodge, Brittany Hodge, Whitney (Steve) Porter, T.J. (Shawna) Smith and Erin Smith ; and twelve great-grandchildren, Hannah, Peyton, Caleb, Connor, Colston, Camden, Noah, Easton, Braxton, Rylan, Sadie, and Emerson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
