Thelma Mae Roberts

Thelma Mae Roberts, 88, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Ocean Springs.

Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved to make everyone laugh! Thelma was a very good cajun cook and she loved having her family over every Sunday for lunch. Any Sunday, if you passed her house, it looked like a car lot (lol)! Her family and friends meant everything to her.

She met with her school friends every month for lunch. They have been friends since grade school and they were known as “The Sacred Heart Girls”. She was also a member of the Fleur De Lis Club as far back as the 1950’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Roberts, Sr.; her infant son, Ricky Roberts; her daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Frankie Warrick; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cliffey Broussard; and her granddaughter, Michelle Lott.

Thelma’s survivors include her children, Kerry (Gloria) Roberts, Cliffey (Evelyn) Roberts, Janet (Bob) Lee, James (Angie) Roberts, Jr. and Steven (Mary) Roberts; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. At last count, there were 54 of us!

A visitation will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
