Mrs. Thelma Cleveland Wilson, age 83, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Wilson was a resident of the coast since 1962. She was employed for many years and retired from the Keesler Main Exchange. She was an avid follower of sports, her favorites being the Atlanta Braves, New Orleans Saints, Biloxi High School and Southern Miss.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Clady Wilson Jr, parents, Earl and Littie Bell Cleveland, siblings, Mable Byrd, John Cleveland and A.Q. Cleveland and her son-in-law, Larry Bogard.
Survivors include a daughter, Margo Wilson Bogard (Scott) Stafford, son, Joel (Melissa) Wilson, grandchildren, Matt Bogard, Brett (Danica) Bogard, Joel (Francesca) Wilson Jr, Alicia (Dannon) Thornton, Katie Wilson and Jacob Wilson, and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P O Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or to Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Foundation NICU Fund, P O Box 940, Gulfport, MS 39502.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
