Theresa Marlene Sczepaniak

Mrs. Theresa Marlene Sczepaniak, age 77, of Biloxi, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of Martin “Marty” Sczepaniak of over 48 years.

Marlene, or “Mal” as she was affectionately known, was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and graduated from Biloxi High School and attended MS Gulf Coast Community College for some time. She enjoyed solving sudoku puzzles, watching wrestling, and being a Nana. She could pick pecans and blue crabs better than most. Driving by her house you could see her green thumb on display with the many plants she grew, as well as an Angel Trumpet that blooms even now. Marlene was a well-loved and charismatic lady who touched the lives of so many people who had the good fortune to know her.

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Eunice Duhon Thibodeaux, and siblings, Janice Smith and Ernie Thibodeaux.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Sczepaniak, three daughters and three sons-in-law, Donna Roberts (Mark) of Dayton, Ohio, Ronda Lloyd (Randy) of Gilbert, Louisiana, and Eva Black (Erik) of Biloxi, Mississippi; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Soule (Saeng) of Clovis, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Nathan Roberts (Kaitlin), Dalton Roberts (Brandon Hawley), Vincent Soule, Ryan Lloyd (Camrin), Reagan Lloyd, and Evan Black; six great grandchildren, Mason and Chase Roberts, Abi Hawley, Titan, Kovah, and Odin Lloyd; siblings, Jessie Thibodeaux, Jr. and Darlene Dunaway; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members who will miss her, as well as her dear friend, Kelli Hibley.

Services will be held at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home located at 675 Howard Ave in Biloxi, on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 2pm. Friends may visit one hour prior.
