Thomas Eugene Wilson

It is being announced the passing of Thomas E. Wilson, of Gulfport, Mississippi, resident of Coastal Health and Rehab.

Mr. Wilson passed peacefully at Singing River ICU on January 20, 2026.

Mr. Wilson was well known to be a very talented musician, as a Bass player, and piano skills. His country roots were his most favorite venue of music. He traveled throughout the country providing his expertise to many audiences.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. Wilson and Mary Anne Wilson; sister, Dianna Wilson; and beloved wife Gayle Wilson.

He is survived by brother, Ira Lynn Wilson; sister-in-law, Charla Wilson; niece Meagan Miller of Ocean Springs; wife, Janette Wilson of South Dakota; aunts and uncles, Frances and Jack McDaniel of Kingston, Georgia, Sue and Bobby Windsor of Bradenton, Florida, Patricia Jenkins of Cartersville, Georgia, Allen and Geri Jenkins of Thomasville, Georgia.

Thomas always admired and loved his close friends including Eddy McDaniel, a lifelong friend, Alfred Lewis, and all his close country friends.

Thomas will have a memorial service, a celebration of life, to be announced at his church, Lighthouse Full Gospel Fellowship at 12161 Dedeaux Road, Gulfport, MS.
