1976 Timmy 2025

Timothy Len Smith

August 27, 1976 — November 27, 2025

Biloxi

Timothy Len “Timmy” Smith, born August 27, 1976 was called home on November 27, 2025 to be with his Lord and Savior, age 49, a cherished long-term resident of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Tim made his home in the Woolmarket community, where he built a life defined by hard work, generosity, and deep pride in the place he served.

Tim began his education at Nativity BVM Elementary School (grades 1–6) and continued through Biloxi High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and the foundation for the strong work ethic that would later define his career.

A highly respected public servant, Tim dedicated many years to Harrison County, ultimately serving as the Harrison County Road Manager, overseeing all five county districts. His leadership, integrity, and hands-on approach earned him wide recognition and admiration throughout the community and surrounding areas. Whether coordinating major infrastructure improvements or ensuring rural roads were safe and passable, Tim approached every task with the same commitment: serving the people of Harrison County with excellence. His impact on the county’s growth and safety will be felt for generations.

Tim’s service did not stop at the county line. He was also called upon during times of disaster, taking part in critical missions and emergency response efforts not only in his community but throughout the nation. Whether clearing roads after storms, coordinating relief operations, or stepping in wherever he was needed, Tim was known for showing up—boots on the ground, hands on the work, and heart fully committed to helping others. His dedication during these crises became a defining part of his legacy, reflecting both his courage and his deep love for his community.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Lamerle Smith; his paternal grandparents, David and Idell Shavers; his father, Larry Eugene Smith, Sr.; and his beloved stepfather, George “Rocky” Meaut, whom he loved and honored as his own father.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Janet Marie Meaut; his loving wife Ann Marie Smith whom stood faithfully by his side and shared a life filled with love, partnership, and unwavering support; His brother, Larry Eugene Smith Jr; His sons, Brendan T Ferrer, Michael T Smith, Blayton J Smith (Mya); Step children, Bradley R Fontenot (Ashley), Joesph D and Jorey M White, his God Daughter, Kaylen M Smith; His cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie L Smith, Ronnie D Fontenot, Khloe P Hoops, Gabriel E Ferrer, Martha (Marty) Lou, Bradley R and Isla P Fontenot; Grandchildren by love, Oakleigh and Wyatt Barnett, who were the light of his life. Tim also leaves behind a large circle of family, friends, coworkers, and community members who will forever remember his unwavering loyalty, quick wit, and genuine heart.

Tim’s legacy is one of service, dedication, and love—for his family, his community, and the people whose lives he touched every day. Harrison County is better because he lived and served here.

A visitation service to honor Tim’s life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Family, friends, and members of the community he proudly served are invited to attend and pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m.
