Toni Estelle Boney

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Toni Estelle Boney, who entered eternal rest in the early morning hours of December 14, 2025, at the age of 73.

Toni was born on June 12, 1952, in Biloxi, Mississippi, to Judge Anthony and Dorothy Anglado. She was raised in Biloxi and attended Biloxi High School, where her journey toward a life defined by love, devotion, and family began.

Shortly after high school, Toni married the love of her life and soulmate, Alan Boney, on November 23, 1969. Their love story was one for the ages—pure, unwavering, and inseparable. Alan adored Toni beyond measure, cherishing her every day and placing her on a pedestal. Their bond was truly indescribable and set an example of enduring love for all who knew them.

Toni lived a life rooted in compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the proud and loving mother of Tanya and Brent, who were the center of her world. Her greatest joy, however, was being “Maw Maw” to her grandchildren. She shared a deeply special, though heartbreakingly short, bond with Jessica, who preceded her in death, as well as Trey, Margaret (Maggie), and Tanner, walking alongside them through every stage of their lives with pride and unconditional love.

Toni spoke often and proudly of her grandchildren. She believed wholeheartedly that Trey could achieve anything he set his mind to and admired the hardworking, responsible man he has become. She was immensely proud of Maggie’s college graduation and her decision to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in nursing beginning in January. Tanner, now in his second year of college, brought her immense joy as he works toward a nursing degree with dreams of one day becoming a CRNA. Her pride in her grandchildren knew no bounds.

After raising her children, Toni dedicated 27 years of loyal service as a Deputy Clerk for the Harrison County Justice Court, from which she eventually retired. Her commitment to service extended far beyond her career. Toni was deeply involved in her community and had a lifelong passion for youth sports. She served as a board member for the D’Iberville Little League Ladies Auxiliary, the D’Iberville Pee Wee Football League Ladies Auxiliary, and coached a girls’ basketball team with the D’Iberville Biddy Basketball League.

Alongside her “partner in crime,” Alan, Toni was also a devoted member of the D’Iberville High School Football Booster Club. Together, they loved cooking for fellow booster members, watching Friday night game films, and building lifelong friendships, memories they treasured deeply.

One of Toni’s greatest joys was watching her son Brent play football, baseball, and basketball from the moment he could hold a ball. She spent countless days and nights at ball fields, courts, dance recitals, and football games—always cheering, always present, always doing what she loved most: supporting her children.

Toni was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan Boney; her parents, Judge Anthony and Dorothy Anglado; and her granddaughter, Jessica Lorin Jordan.

She is survived by her children, Tanya Bourque (Lyle) and Brent Boney (Cilya); her cherished grandchildren, Trey Bourque, Margaret (Maggie) Bourque, and Tanner Boney; her loving brother, Douglas Anglado; her sister-in-law, Nona McGrevey; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever miss her presence.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville, Mississippi, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Swetman Cemetery in D’Iberville, where Toni will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, granddaughter, and her father- and mother-in-law.

Mom, you will forever live in our hearts. We will never forget you, and we will love you always. We find comfort knowing that you are finally at peace—reunited with your soulmate, whom you lost only a few short months ago. We know that the moment you took your last breath on this earth, Daddy was right there beside you, guiding you home.

Rest peacefully, Momma. Be happy. Be with Daddy.
