Tony Bernard Patrick Ellis

Tony Bernard Patrick Ellis, age 65, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Tony was born on February 21, 1960, in France. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School and furthered his education at Mississippi State University and obtained a Professional Engineer License. Throughout his career, he worked with TVA and Mississippi Power. He also worked with NRC fulfilling mechanical engineering roles.

Tony had a passion for fishing, golf, social events, and cherished time spent with family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Ellis. He is survived by his loving mother, Louise Ellis; his daughter, Kymbr McMurray; his grandchildren; Fox, Zade, Porter, and Griffin; his brother, Wade Ellis (wife Gay); and his nephews, Will and Nathan Ellis.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, MS. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. A private graveside will be held for family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony’s memory to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, 4900 Riley Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564.
