Tyra Denise Niles

Tyra Denise Niles (Ty/Sunshine), forever 22, of Saucier, MS, made her heavenly return on Friday, October 2, 2026, in Gulfport, MS.

Tyra was born July 5, 2004, to Angie Michelle Niles and Danuel K. Picott. She graduated from Harrison Central High School in December 2025, completing four years of JROTC and had been preparing to attend college or pursue a military career.

Tyra enjoyed video games, especially Final Fantasy and Cyberpunk, as well as anime, Gundam model building, puzzles, Harry Potter, Funko Pops, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. She had a special love for animals.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Angie Michelle Niles; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Ann Niles; and her paternal grandparents, Audrey Virginia Picott and Adolphus Webster Picott.

Tyra is survived by her father, Danuel K. Picott; her siblings, Kayla L. Belvin, Ebonie L. Niles, Danuel K. Picott Jr., Maerasol Picott, Aundreia M. Picott, Damien Treadwell and Xavier Treadwell; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; her cat, Burt; and her dog, Punkin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to the family to help cover funeral expenses.

Services will be announced by the family.
