Vada Mae Barrett Saucier, 83, of Pass Christian, died Sunday, January 16, 2005, in Pass Christian. Mrs. Barrett was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her parents, John Edgar & Miranda Elizabeth Barrett, 3 husbands, George E. Switzer, Sr., Burton Patton, Sr., Francis Saucier, daughter, Georgia O'Connor, 3 grandchildren, Russell Howard, Vivian Ishee, Joey Switzer, brother, James Barrett, 2 sisters, Katie Barrett, and Martha Harris. Survivors include her companion of 30 years, Ronnie Hartsell of Pass Christian, 5 sons, Roy Switzer of Pass Christian, Aaron Patton of Houma, LA, Frank Patton of Gulfport, Steve Hartsell, Gene Hartsell both of Nashville, TN, 4 daughters, Judy Cuevas of Pass Christian, Linda Thurman of McHenry, MS, Beth Armstrong of Pass Christian, Christine Miller of Gulfport, 3 brothers, Clarence Barrett of Billings, MT, Delcie Barrett of Lumberton, MS, Ben Barrett, 2 sisters, Eva Reynolds of Long Beach, Hattie Barron of Hattiesburg, 29 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-10pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Gulfport. A service will be 1pm, Wednesday at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe. Burial will be at Coalville Cemetery.
