Velma Marie Adams Hebert

Velma Marie Adams Hebert, 85, died Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Velma was a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Biloxi. Velma was a great homemaker and took care of all her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Adam Joseph Hebert, parents, Clailborne Joseph and Lucy Adams, brother, Esnaire Adams, sisters, Thelma Adams, Emily Eschete and Doris Butcher. Survivors include sons, Harry James Hebert of Biloxi, Adam W. Hebert of St. Martin, Michael A. Hebert of Biloxi, daughters, Velma "Cookie" (Mike) Chester of Biloxi, Tanya R. Hebert of Biloxi, Kay A. Hebert of Biloxi, Jennifer M. (Raymond) Davis of St. Martin, brothers, Jessie Adams of Lockport, LA, Edward Adams of Westwego, LA 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson. Visitation is Thursday, August 27, 2009, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi.
