Verna M. Gautier

Verna M. Gautier, 93, was a lifelong resident of Biloxi and passed away peacefully on June 25, 2016. She was the Commercial Traffic Manager at Keesler Air Force Base from 1941 to 1970. In retirement, she volunteered for the March of Dimes Charity of Biloxi and the Morning Star Pregnancy Care Center. She was an active golfer and belonged to the Sunkist Ladies Golf Association. She was also a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Gautier; her parents, George and Catherine Davis; and her two sisters, Beverly Davis and Dorothy Moran. Verna is survived by two sons, Richard Mosley and Robert Mosely and his life partner, Joy Taylor; and granddaughter, Jordan T. Mosley. Services will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service. She will be buried at Southern Memorial Park. The family prefers donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to your favorite charity.
