Violet Hingle Fontenelle

Mrs. Violet Hingle Fontenelle, 90, of Biloxi, MS passed away February 17, 2005. She was born in Pointe ala Hache, LA. and lived in New Orleans most of her life. She has lived in Biloxi since December of 1974 and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Fontenelle, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul T. Hingle, brothers, Alan and Felix Hingle and sister, Pearl Marie Giroir. Survivors include her son, Dr. Larry J. Fontenelle and his wife, Brenda P. Fontenelle, of Biloxi. Nine grandchildren, Mrs. Michele F. McLeod of Lucedale, MS, Mrs. Leslie F. Howarth, of Biloxi, Mrs. Renee` F. Davis of Colorado Springs, CO., Rhett Fontenelle, Chad Fontenelle, Paulette F. Starks, Laurence Fontenelle, Jarrod Fontenelle and Jason Fontenelle, all of Biloxi. She is also survived by her son, Stanly Fontenelle and his wife, Barbara, their two sons, John Fontenelle and Michael Fontenelle all of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren. She was a loving and giving lady and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. where friends may call one hour prior to Mass. Burial will be at Hope Mausoleum, St. John's Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
