Virdue P. Stubbs, age 77, of Vancleave, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016.
Virdue was a longtime resident of Vancleave. She was born in Simpson County to Luke and Novice Padgett. She was a Southern Baptist and retired from Ingalls with 21 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ralph Stubbs Jr.; and her parents, Luke Padgett and Novice Padgett.
Survivors include her sons, Tony (Patti) Stubbs and Terry Stubbs; daughters, Teresa (Chuck) Davis and Dana (Joel) Tipton; brothers, Uriel (Mattie Lee) Padgett of Brandon, MS and Darrell (Joyce) Padgett of The Woodlands, TX; sister, Ruby (Jerry) Colter of Nashville, TN; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
