Virginia Marie Anderson

Virginia Marie Anderson, age 59, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026.

Virginia, affectionally know as Grammy, was born on April 28, 1967 in Tampa, Florida. She was a graduate from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where she earned a degree in Nursing. She enjoyed being “Grammy” to all her grandchildren. During her spare time, she enjoyed lunches at Jalapeno Grill and Dewy Dew Bugs.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Victoria and Allen Bickel; husband, Robert Anderson; grandchild, Gabriel Anderson; and her fur-baby, Rowdie Anderson.

Left to cherish her memory include her children, Brooke (Anthony) Anderson, Bobby (Tanisha) Anderson, Derek (Crystal) Anderson and Jake (Erin) Anderson; grandchildren, Isabella, Harper, AJ, Beckham, Avalyn, Vicki, Aulani, Elijah, Sophie, Emmalyn, and baby girl Anderson; and by her siblings, Dawn Bouch, Tom Dwyer and Scott Dwyer.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery. Reception to follow at Anderson home.
