Mrs. Virginia Victoria Gouin of Gulfport passed away peacefully at home on August 7th, 2025. She was one of twelve children born to Gordon Wesley Winter, Sr. and Susie Catherine Winter. Virginia was born on April 15th, 1939, in Summerville, SC where she grew up and later met her husband Raymond who was stationed at the Air Force base in Charleston. She worked for a while at Audrey’s Hair Salon as a stylist and also in sales at Gayfers Department Store.
Raymond and Virginia enjoyed taking many different cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska. Hawaii was also one of their favorite travel spots. They enjoyed life so very much. They loved their friends and kept them close.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents and also her husband of 66 years, Raymond Lucien Gouin.
She is survived by her children, Robert Raymond Gouin and wife Karen and Cynthia Ann Gouin Harris and spouse Norwood “Woody”; grand-children, Jason Robert Gouin and wife Heather; Rebecca Nicole Gouin Whittet and husband Joey; Richard Terry Harris II and wife Melody and Christopher Jacob Harris.
