Virgle F. Campbell

Virgle F. Campbell, age 81, of Gulfport died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Gulfport. He was born in Dalton, Georgia and had been a resident of Gulfport for most of his life. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church. He previously served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired barber. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Lee Campbell; his parents, John Harvey Campbell and Beulah Womack Campbell; a sister, Hazel Walker; and a brother, Floyd Campbell. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with U.S. Navy honors.
