Walter Francis Moore

Walter Francis Moore, 86, of Biloxi MS, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3, 2016. He was born on August 12, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA. Walter was a retired Tech Sergeant with the Air Force, and he also was a retired teacher and counselor with the school systems. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend. He touched the lives of all the people he encountered. Walter is survived by his wife Mary Moore; sons, Don Moore (Kathy), Michael Moore (Peggy), Darrell Moore; and a daughter, Lynda Moore (Dave). He had 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on LeMoyne Blvd. in D’Iberville, MS on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 10:00-11:00. A mass will follow at 11:00 in the church. Interment for Walter will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors after the mass.
