Wanda Kay Barrett

Mrs. Wanda Kay Childers Barrett, 53, of Vancleave, MS, died Thursday, December 10, 2009, in Vancleave. Mrs. Barrett was born in Corinth , MS and had been a longtime resident of the coast. She was of the Pentacostal faith. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her son, William Allen Creed; parents, Horace and Hattie Hopper Childers; sister, Carolyn Childers; and two brothers, Bobby Childers and Travis Childers. She is survived by her husband, Dale Barrett; sisters, Lois Kates and Ann Lee; brother, billy Childers; and four grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, December 16, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
