Wanda Louise Shemwell

Wanda Louise Shemwell, 77, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Gautier. Mrs. Shemwell was a resident of Ocean Springs since 1996. She was a member of the Assembly of God, a pastor’s wife for over fifty years working alongside of her husband. She is preceded in death by her son, Alan Randall Shemwell; her grandchildren, Brandon Rice, Christina Rice and Travis Shemwell; her great-grandchild, Abby; and her sister, Gloria Flack. Mrs. Shemwell’s survivors include her husband, Rev. George Shemwell; her daughters, Pam (Jim) Rice and Star Petri; her son, John (Gail) Shemwell; her sister, Barbara (Staley) Hall; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Friends may visit from 12:30 pm until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
