Wendell McCollom

Wendell McCollom, 77, of Vancleave, MS died on Monday, October 15, 2012. Mr. McCollom had been a resident of Vanlceave for the past 45 years. He was a retired USAF Veteran. Mr. McCollom loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. McCollom is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Alzada McCollom. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean McCollom; daughter, Rhonda McKenzie of Theodore, AL; sons, Wendell W. (Carol) McCollom of Vancleave and Gary (Melisa) McCollom also of Vancleave; sisters, Norma Green of Norman, OK and Lynda Merick of Seiling, OK and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
