Wilbur Collier, Jr.

Wilbur, "W. W." Collier Jr., 68, of Ocean Springs passed away on Monday, August 21, 2006. Mr. Collier was a resident of Ocean Springs for thirty seven years and was of the Baptist faith. He retired in 2000 after thirty three years of service with Ingalls as a welding instructor. He was a member of the BPOE #2501 Elks Lodge. He loved playing the guitar and singing with friends and enjoyed playing golf and pool. On one occasion he sank the eight ball twice in a row on the break. Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur W. Collier, Sr. and Sarah Collier and an infant sister. Survivors include his wife, Judy Collier; two daughters, Robin Crider (Fiance Mike Ishee) and Donna Lynn Demo (Mike); son, Danny R. Collier (Kathy); seven grandchildren, Tina, Jennifer, Jessica, Shawn, Brooke, Danny Jr. and Taylor and six great-grandchildren, Wayne, Joshua, Wyatt, Sidney, Shad and Justin. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradord-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2006 in the Chapel of the funeral home. Burial to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
