William Charles Manning

William Charles Manning, Jr, 74, of Biloxi, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, April 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his father, William Charles Manning, Sr.; and brother, John Elton Manning. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Higgins Manning; daughter, Jennifer Manning Discher (Michael); grandchildren, Hayley and Austin Discher; mother, Katherine Marie Angle Manning; brother, Michael Anthony Manning (Lorri); and nephew, Dr. Lance A. Manning (Tareneh). William attended Mississippi State University and worked as an Environmental Engineer for Chrysler Corporation for over 35 years. He enjoyed travelling – especially to Aruba, sailing and was always the life of the party. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 11-12:30pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531 with services at 12:30 pm. Burial to follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Cancer Research.
