William G. Park, Jr., lovingly known as “Billy” and “Uncle Billy,” passed away at home in Biloxi with his family by his side on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 77.
Billy was born on August 25, 1948, in Ashland, Ohio, to William G. Park, Sr. and Yvonne Park. He graduated from Ashland High School and went on to attend JD College.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he continued his career as an instructor and later worked at Ingalls Shipyard.
Billy had many passions in life. Fishing brought him peace and joy, as did making ceramics- a hobby he enjoyed for many years. Music was a constant source of happiness in his life. Billy had a special place in his heart for animals and cared for many dogs throughout the years, including his beloved companion, Babycakes – who preceded him in death. Above all, Billy treasured his family. He loved being “Uncle Billy” to his many nieces and nephews, including great and great-great nieces and nephews, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. Park, Sr. and Yvonne Park, and by his sibling, Randy Park.
Billy is survived by his devoted wife, Janice Park; children, Rodney Terry, Kimberly Terry (Kimmie), Angela Park, and Heather Keller; grandchild, Sebastian Keller; siblings, James Park and Karen Park; his grand-puppy, NookNook; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Billy’s strength, warmth, and love for family, music, fishing, and animals will be remembered always.
