William Andrew Rushing

William Andrew Rushing, age 84, of Woolmarket went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 4, 2018. He retired from Keesler Air Force Base, was a member of the Cedar Lake United Methodist Church, served in the Army for 18 months, and was also a member of the Polar Star Lodge 154 of Gulfport. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles William Rushing and Ina Campbell Rushing, and his brothers, Luther and Irvin Rushing. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Nita Rushing; his son, Lyndon Rushing; his daughter, Sandra Rushing; his grandson, Zachary Rushing; his brother, Jim Rushing; his sister, Winonia (Bunnyan) Pierce; multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, great nephews, and great nieces. Visitation will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m., all at the Cedar Lake United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery. The family would prefer donations be made to the Cedar Lake United Methodist Church Building Fund, 12330 Cedar Lake Road Biloxi, MS 39532.
