William Shawn "Billy" Bridges

Mr. William Shawn "Billy" Bridges, age 37, of Gulfport, MS, died on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, in Ocean Springs. William was a lifelong resident of the coast and served in the Marine Corp and U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Shirley Bridges. Survivors include his mother, Vicky Bridges Vanderford of D'Iberville, MS, brother, Anthony "Tony" Bridges of Gulfport, father, Mikeil R. Cranford of Gulfport, aunt and uncle, Micheal and Sandra Bridges of Maryland, uncle, Dale Bridges of Gulfport, and nieces, Shania and Brooke Bridges of Ocean Springs. Visitation will be on Monday, September 17, 2012, from 6 pm until 9 pm, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, there will be an 11 am chapel service in the funeral home, where friends may visit from 9 am until 11 am. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
