Wilma J. Jackson, 86, of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, in Ocean Springs.
Born on April 5, 1939, in Lexington, Mississippi, to William J. Friar and Vertilla H. Friar (Stokes), She graduated from Lanier High School and continued her education at Stillman University and the University of Northern Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Charles F Jackson; sons, William C. Jackson, Edward K. Jackson, Waymon J. Jackson; daughters- in- law, Carolyn Martin-Jackson, Lina Jackson, Marissa Jackson; and grandkids, Benjamin Jackson, Jonathan Jackson, and Jordan Jackson.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30pm.
