Winona S. "Nony" Raether

Winona S. “Nony” Raether, 97 formerly of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in Prairieville, LA. She had been a member of the Ocean Springs Hospital Auxiliary for more than twenty-five years. Nony was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. “Bob” Raether, Sr.; brother, Arthur J. Webber; and sisters, Mary Alice “Mae” Miller and Rose W. Oakes. She is survived by her son, Robert R. “Dick” Raether, Jr.; grandchildren, Robert R. “Richard” Raether, III, and Suzanne Raether; nieces; and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 502 Jackson Ave., Ocean Springs, MS 39564. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
