Woodrow James Melton

Woodrow James Melton, 62, of Lizana, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 in Gulfport. He was born in Gulfport and was a life long resident of Lizana where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a retired plumber. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Melton; and a brother, Larry Melton. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Vance Melton of Lizana; a daughter, Crystal Melton Stafford and her husband, Charles of Lizana; his mother, Betty Joyce Cuevas Melton of Lizana; a sister, Cathy Ann Holden, of Lizana; and two grandsons, Derick and Jonathan. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport.
