Wortham Waltman

Mr. Wortham Waltman, 82, of Biloxi, passed away Monday, February 28, 2005. Mr. Waltman was a native and lifelong resident of the coast and worked most of his life in the seafood industry. He was preceded in death by his son, Dickie Waltman, two daughters, Sally Fryery and Florence Check, parents, John and Cornelia Waltman. He is survived by his wife, Mary Waltman of Biloxi, three daughters, May Hutcherson of Biloxi, Betty Nied of California, and Melissa Kennedy of Biloxi, sister, Betty Jane Mathieu of Ocean Springs, four brothers, Buck of Saucier, John of Ocean Springs, Louis Grant Waltman of Vancleave, and Jack Waltman of Alabama, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Ave., Biloxi, Thursday March 3, 2005, from 10 a.m. til 12 p.m., with service at 12 noon. Procession will follow to the Biloxi City Cemetery.
