Yoshia Shaun Walker “Big Yosh 74”, age 48, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Yoshia was born on May 26, 1973 at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. He was a bartender, licensed Captain on the Water in New Iberia, LA, welder, short order cook, and security guard. Yoshia worked for Armans, Global Industries offshore where he received numerous awards and recognitions, and Treasure Bay Casino where he was employee of the quarter and employee of the year.

Yoshia was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and the President of Steelers Nation of South Mississippi. He was a friend to everyone he met and will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Walker III.

Survivors include his son, Malik Dashon Roman-Walker; mother, Julia Roberts Walker; brother, Mark Anthony Roberts (Veronica); sister, Chastity B.A. Walker; uncle, Anthony C. Roberts; aunt, Katherine Robinson; cousin, Rhonda Lewis; nephews, Marcellus Walker, Myshon Walker, Charrick Mitchell, Charris “Chico” Mitchell; and nieces, L’Donna M.A. Walker and Chanjess Mitchell.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Walker family.
