Zelda Phelps

Mrs. Zelda Phelps, 59, of Gulfport, MS, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Gulfport. Mrs. Phelps was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was a homemaker and a Baptist She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Phelps, Sr.; parents, Kevel and Effie Carol Shoemaker; grandson, James Chance Davis, and a great nephew, Kevel Matthew Felton. Survivors include five daughters, Kathy Gonzales and Lisa Phelps of Gulfport, Tammy Green of Pass Christian, Priscilla Davis of Biloxi, and Alexis Dice of D'Iberville; a son, Edward Earl Phelps, Jr.; sister, Wanda Capobianco of Gulfport; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services are Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
