Zoe Janet Ashby

Zoe Janet Miller Ashby, 93 of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on December 7, 2024.

She was born in Grafton, W. Virginia on March 8, 1931. She was married to the love of her life, Lt. Col. Charles Ashby. She served as a military wife traveling the world and caring for her family. She was an outstanding wife and wonderful mother. She was very active with the Alter’s Guild at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Downtown O.S. she worked at Wally Page Realty in O.S. for many years and continued working for Kenny and Cathy Langlinais in the Realty business. She was loved by all and will be missed.

Zoe was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Charles C. Ashby; parents, Hubert and Clair Miller; and sister, Gladys Efaw.

She is survived by her sons, Retired 1st SGT. Mark (Connie) Ashby and Charles C. Ashby; grandchildren, Matt Ashby, Heather Liles, William Ashby, and Joseph Powers; great-grandchildren, Matt Ashby, Jr., Emily Ashby, Catalina Liles, and Madelina Liles.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
